TOMIRO Belgian brand of wooden toy trains

(click pictures for full-size version that open in a new window)

Over the years, I collected different wooden toy trains from a Belgian brand Tomiro

I have 2 types of locomotives:

  • 2B locomotive with tender, base color wood
  • 2C locomotive with tender, locnumber 2346, base color green. One missing its roof, the other missing one pair of wheels (the other wheels were repositionned by a former owner)

One of the locomotives bears a distinctive marking on the bottom 'Made in Belgium' and a serial number(?) 2032

The passenger coach bears the destination 'Paris'

The wagon with stanchions bears the identifications 'TOMIRO', 'Bois-Manu' 'Resarm' and '253'

On the internet, nothing could be found on this subject, except for some information on the website of the toy museum in Brussels: https://www.museedujouet.eu/index.php/jouet/touslesjouets/fiche?idj=1107

Anyone having more information on this brand (history, pictures, items) is kindly asked to share this information with me! Thanks!
